Budalicious

I've been taking a ridiculous number of pictures every day. So, I'm going to post them in categories. Here we have some food items:

This spread was called "The Rich Breakfast" at Cafe Cicero in downtown Pest. That's a freshly baked croissant (with some strawberry jam), the tastiest OJ I've ever had, and the thickest hot chocolate known to mankind. It cost about 800 HUF - which is about $4.

A close up of that tasty hot chocolate. It was out of control! And delicious.

Dreher- some Hungarian beer. It tastes about as good as PBR.

Indian food! YUM. Soprani! Gross.

Gnocchi at a restaurant on the island. Delicious.

Picked up this beauty at a supermarket by the bus station. The original Budweiser - the name was purchased by the American company.

A serious spread of some Hungarian food at the street fair on the chain bridge. I didn't eat any of it, but it sure smelled good!

Penne with spinach pesto (foreground) and some traditional Hungarian beef goulash (background).
